Hello All! My name is Zhané (she/her) and I am an 18 year old black jewelry maker, resin artist, crocheter and painter.
I grew up in Oakland CA and have just recently graduated high school. Ever since I was little, I’ve had a passion for creating. I’ve always loved bright colors and art which led to me having the strong desire to make some of my own. My business, ZhaneMadeIt, started during the Covid-19 pandemic as I was looking to expand on my hobbies and find new ones to indulge in.
All my jewelry is diverse and unique. It's handmade from scratch and there are no two exactly alike. For my paintings, I lean toward a clean image; whatever my heart tells me to do in the moment. I have so many different styles of art that I want to produce, but my underlying theme currently is clean.
I had a large following at my high school due to a weekly event called Fresh Friday. Fresh Friday allowed student business owners to sell their products at school. It went from just me to several vendors in only a few weeks!
And Fresh Friday led me to put my work at The Artisan Market in Crockett. I love how it feels to create art and I hope you’ll love my pieces as much as I enjoy making them!
